ANSWERS TO

 FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

  • ARE YOUR HAND SOAPS MADE WITH ANIMAL BI-PRODUCTS OR TESTED ON ANIMALS?
We are proud to say that we do not use any animal bi-products and do not test on animals.
  • THE HAND SOAP I PURCHASED DOESN'T GENERATE A LOT OF LATHER. IS THIS NORMAL?
Our hand soap lines are formulated to gently cleanse hands without drying out your skin. The foaming agents or lather found in many soaps is based on the chemical composition of the formula. The ranges of these ingredients in your hand soap directly relates to the amount of hand soap you get in a typical hand wash. Don't worry, the less lather does not mean that the cleansing properties are any less.
  • WHAT IS THE SQUARE FOOTAGE THAT THE ESSENZA ULTRASONIC DIFFUSER WILL COVER?
Our ultrasonic oil diffuser models will generally cover a room size of anywhere from 200-300 square feet depending upon the amount of water and oil that is in the water tank. For details specific to your diffuser model, please refer to the instruction manual that came included with your ultrasonic diffuser.
  • WHY WON'T MY DIFFUSER TURN ON?
If your diffuser will not turn on, please confirm that there is adequate water in the water tank. Also confirm that the unit is connected to the power adaptor and that the power adaptor is connected correctly to the power outlet.
  • WHY WON'T MY DIFFUSER PUT OUT ANY MIST?
The most common cause of our diffusers not releasing a mist relates to the level of water in the water tank. To correct this issue, we suggest confirming that there is adequate water in the tank. Also always confirm that the water fill level is not above the "max fill" line printed on the outside of the water tank.
  • ARE YOUR DIFFUSER OILS SAFE FOR USE ON THE SKIN?
Our diffuser oils are designed for use exclusively in ultrasonic diffusers. Do not apply undiluted oil onto your skin or swallow it. If oil comes in contact with skin, please wash immediately with water. Should you swallow the diffuser oil, seek medical help immediately.
  • WHY IS WATER LEAKING OUT OF MY DIFFUSER?
If your diffuser appears to be leaking water, please unplug the unit from the electrical outlet and then confirm that the water tank cap and the outer cover are both installed correctly. If the temperature is too low and or the humidity is high, the mist may form water drops.
  • WHAT SHOULD I DO IF I ACCIDENTALLY KNOCK OVER MY DIFFUSER DURING USE?
In the event of the diffuser being knocked over or tipped during use, please follow the instructions listed below: 1. Unplug the unit from the power source and remove the water tank cover 2. Pour out any water remaining in the water tank. 3. Gently shake the unit to drain any water inside the mechanism and then allow the unit to dry for at least 24 hours before re-using.
  • WHAT TYPES OF OILS ARE SAFE TO USE IN MY ULTRASONIC DIFFUSER?
We recommend only using Essenza diffuser oils as they have been tested specifically with each of our diffuser units.

Replacement bulbs are currently available for purchase on Amazon.com. It is our suggestion that you use no more than a 25-watt bulb in our wax warmer models.
  • HOW DO I SAFELY REMOVE MY HALOGEN BULB FROM MY WAX WARMER?
To remove the halogen bulb from your wax warmer you will want to first unplug the cord from the electrical socket and then wait for the bulb to completely cool before removal. • WHAT ARE YOUR CANDLES MADE OF?

  • CANDLE CARE & SAFETY TIPS
Olympic Mountain Products is committed to providing its customers with high quality products, while meeting the most stringent safety criteria. Here are a few tips to keep your candle burning at optimal level. BEFORE YOU BURN: Remove all packaging and discard before lighting the wick. Place your candle on a level, well protected, heat resistant, dry surface that is away from any children, pets or drafty areas. Never leave a lit candle unattanded. CANDLE PREP: Before lighting, always trim the wick to 1/4" in height and remove all trimmings to allow for optimal flame height that will slowly melt an even pool of wax. INITIAL BURN: When you first light your candle, allow the wax to melt or pool all the way to the outer edges of the container. Allowing a full melt pool ensures an even burn without tunneling and maximum fragrance throw. Lighting and then extinguishing your candle for a shorter period of time could result in an uneven burn. ALWAYS REMEMBER: Keep the wax pool free from trimmings, matches or combustible materials. Always extinguish a candle when 1/2" of wax is remaining in the vessel to prevent surface damages. Do not put glass jars in the dishwasher. Properly discard and recycle glass.
